He encontrado una solucion en ubuntu Bug # 899244

ir a terminal alt+F2
pasar a superusuario  " sudo su"
quitar poulsbo    "rmmod poulsbo"
añadir solucion  "modprobre psb_gfx

startx

ycontiunar con la instalacion

   Adaptador de pantalla: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500
                                              Intel Atom Z520....
  Tras botear usb, no puedo instalar Linux Mint 12 -gnome-cd 32bits,todo se paraliza y al escribir "startx" me reporta lo siguiente:

  Fatal server error:
  no screens found

  ddxSigGiveup: Closing  log

  xinit: giving up
  xinit: unable to connect to X server: Connection refused
  xinit: server error
