[Bug 379430] [NEW] Stick and compare days

Public bug reported:

A cool feature for GZG would be to have a way of choosing more than one
day, and have them show up next to each other, even though they are not
in consecutive days.

When the journal viewer is fast enough to show what I have open, right
now, I can "sticky" some earlier day to have a comparison, so I can look
at both (or all three, or four, or whatever), and cherry pick the items
that I need to open today.

I have no clear idea what this feature set should look like, so mockups
are welcome.
