[Bug 882557] [NEW] Activity Journal consumes 100% of one CPU Core

Public bug reported:

Then I start Activity Journal 0.8.0 in my Ubuntu 11.10 (Unity mode,
64bit) it consumes 100% of one CPU core. The interesting thing is that
another core is occupied up to 100% by the X server process then I start
the activity journal.

My python Version:

$ python --version
Python 2.7.2+

** Affects: gnome-activity-journal
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
