[Question #193935]: installing Graphite on FreeBSD via port
New question #193935 on Graphite:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/193935
I'm trying to install Carbon/Graphite/Whisper on a machine running FreeBSD 9.0 Release. I installed the ports; py-whisper, py-carbon and py-graphite-web.
The first thing I noticed is that Carbon/Whisper created a directory tree under /var/db/graphite/storage, while graphite created a similar but non-identical tree under /usr/local/graphite/storage
Has anyone here installed successfully on FreeBSD or the perhaps port-maintainer might be here.
I can't seem to create databases, start carbon or really do anything associated with a successful installation.
I can't even find a set of documents for Graphite.
Any and all help would be appreciated.
Steve.
