Re: GTG Redesign: Step 1

 





Hi,The most important feature that GTG should possess in its new design should be user friendliness.GTG should represent tasks in a manner in which a user visualizes the same list of tasks in his mind.He must not feel at any moment that he has to LEARN TO USE GTG.The implementation should be that easy and straightforward.I think this must one of the foremost features we must focus upon, since the current design is also pretty simple and clean.
Another thing that I feel is important is representing the relevance of the tasks visually.Suppose, if a task is very important, it would be highlighted in red, or if its due date is nearing, the task would carry some other visual feature.This would remove the burden of having to read what the task holds.  Merely looking at the tasks should signal the user what kind of task it is.
