[Bug 1037300] Re: undefined symbol: clutter_stage_window_get_type

 

Try

sudo rm -rf /usr/share/gtg/GTG/plugins/geolocalized_tasks/

It will remove geolocalized_tasks plugin. It is very buggy, can't be
enabled, etc. It won't be shipped with GTG 0.3. (The reason it is still
in the trunk is that we want to rewrite it after porting to GTK3. It
will be a nifty plugin.)

If removing the plugin helps, I'll disable that plugin directly in
trunk.

Bug description:
  GTG does not start after the upgrade to 12.04.

  I had the daily PPA running with no problems on 11.10, but after the
  upgrade GTG gives this error:

  xxxxx:~$ gtg
  2012-08-15 17:17:15,013 - WARNING - __init__:__init__:77 - Backend backend_mantis could not be loaded: No module named suds.client
  2012-08-15 17:17:15,015 - WARNING - __init__:__init__:77 - Backend backend_twitter could not be loaded: No module named tweepy.models
  /usr/bin/python: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/clutter/_clutter.so: undefined symbol: clutter_stage_window_get_type
