I modifed the line slightly from this:

rm ~/.local/share/gtg

to this:

rm ~/.local/share/gtg/*

Since gtg is a folder, rm will not work. The above command removed
everything but the plugins folder, which is fine.

But, it still didn't work. The "hidden" tasks are still listed in my tag
view. I cannot rid myself of them. Until they are gone, my sync will not
work properly.
