hmm.. could you try executing::
apt-get install bazaar
bzr branch lp:gtg/0.2
cd gtg
./gtg

And seeing if the bug persists?

I've read the code and tried to reproduce the bug, but it works fine on
my side (video attached :-D)

Bug description:
cant change date from soon to later. clik in window dont change the setting. i recorded and attached screen cast (sound is problematic but video shows the problem imho).

i use gtg 0.2.3
