Status in Getting Things GNOME!: New

Bug description:
gtg kept on working fine for me in the past year or so, but today it hangs whenever I try to Quit. There is no cpu/disk hogging, no tracebacks in the terminal, and no specific info in debug mode. It just sits there. Any ideas?
