Mmm, I really like the sound of that.
The only issue might be that users would expect to be able to click on
the checkbox to mark the task done, however I think the current codebase
does not support this metaphore and I'm uncertain how difficult or easy
that support would be. But assuming there's some way to achieve that I
think it would give nice usability.

Bug description:
Currently, in the TaskEditor, subtasks are listed in a bullet list and introduced with arrows.
We could use a checkbox instead of the arrow, which would make easier to set subtasks as done directly in the parent task.
