[Bug 535638] Re: gnome-nanny crashes when attempting to change blacklist or open main program
** Summary changed:
- gnome-nanny crashes when attempting to change blacklist
+ gnome-nanny crashes when attempting to change blacklist or open main program
** Description changed:
- Using Lucid 64 bit kernel 2.6.32-16-generic #24-Ubuntu SMP Sat Mar 6 12:32:35 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
- and nanny 2.29.3-0ubuntu2~lucid2.
- Nanny installed by using 64 bit deb downloaded from this PPA (udisks had to be updated manually via command line, so may be unmet dependency).
- PC turned off (a reboot did not start up gnome-nanny). Started up and nanny applet seen in task bar. Went to System-Admin-Blacklists. Program asks for password. Enter password and program crashes immediately as crash handler icon displayed. Can't report problem as not Ubuntu package. Subsequent attempts to edit Blacklists crash immediately without asking for password.
- I've attached my .xsession-errors file as it's the only place where problems seem to be reported.
+ I freshly installed Ubuntu 10.04 with all the updates installed. Gnome-
+ nanny crashes at all attempts to open the main program or the blacklist.
+
+ My system is Intel dual-core CPU E5200 @ 2.5 GHz
+
+ Linux kernel 2.6.32-22-generic-pae
+
+ Genome 2.30.0
