[Bug 472934] Re: The new GUI can't be minimized in tray
I was experiencing the same problems. After updating to Karmic on every
startup i see the ufw main screen without the opportunity to minimize
that to the tray on startup. I tried to install the 9.04 version of gufw
on karmic but the problem remains. Maybe something has changed in the
implementation of the underlying ufw ? Maybe the developers can easily
determine the problem.

Status in GUI for ufw: New
Bug description:
In the new version (9.10.4) I see very few options, and moreover I can't find the "start minimized in tray" one, that I need most.
I used to start the old GUI with this autostart script:
gksudo --preserve-env --description /usr/share/applications/gufw.desktop "/usr/share/gufw/gufw.py --quiet"
assuming that "--quiet" would be the working option, before.
Now, how can I do to start the GUI minimized in tray?
