[Bug 472934] Re: The new GUI can't be minimized in tray
Hi! You can't minimize to the systray in the new version.
This was a serius vulnerability, because you're running always (in the systray) an application as root.
You must remember that Gufw runs ufw, and ufw change the iptables rules, then you don't need run Gufw in the systray (or open), because the rules are persistent ;)
Best regards.

Status in GUI for ufw: New
Bug description:
In the new version (9.10.4) I see very few options, and moreover I can't find the "start minimized in tray" one, that I need most.
I used to start the old GUI with this autostart script:
gksudo --preserve-env --description /usr/share/applications/gufw.desktop "/usr/share/gufw/gufw.py --quiet"
assuming that "--quiet" would be the working option, before.
Now, how can I do to start the GUI minimized in tray?
