I'm sorry, but this has not been my experience. I can turn it on but
once I reboot, it reverts to off and thus it must be turn on again.
Perhaps there's a log in can attach?

Bug description:
  im using Manjaro which is arch based. UFW wont stay on across reboots.
  in contrast to other distros, i do not need to unlock it, it has never
  asked for that. true to its simplicity i just have to toggle status to
  enable/disable it. i am not sure if this is a natural behavior and its
  just supposed to be that way, but at the same time it doesnt seem very
  practical to have to turn it on manually every time i reboot. btw
  great little app, thanks for your work
