Message #00487
[Bug 727484] [NEW] Javascript UI does not respond to events at all (jquery error)
Public bug reported:
Using Debian
Package: gwibber
Version: 2.91.90-1
Severity: normal
None of the apparently javascript-implemented parts of the interface
respond. The service subselection buttons do not respond to click, and
retweet/reply buttons do not become visible at all. Only the menu bar
and the GTK+ entry and send button in the corner respond as usual.
This message scrolls when you mouse over gwibber:
** Message: console message:
file:///usr/share/gwibber/ui/themes/simple/jquery.js @2532: TypeError:
Result of expression 'event.type' [undefined] is not an object.
This message triggers when you click a service subsection (messages) in
the UI:
** Message: console message:
file:///usr/share/gwibber/ui/templates/jquery.js @2532: TypeError:
Result of expression 'event.type' [undefined] is not an object.
No extra information provided from gwibber -d
Gwibber "works" fine, I can read messages, see notifications, post
updates (also via dbus API), but the UI does not respond.
