Gwibber 3.4.2 on Ubuntu 12.04.1.

Older versions of Gwibber has an item on the message menu that was "view
on Twitter" or "view on web" (I don't recall), but it was occasionally
quite useful for dealing with anything that Gwibber couldn't handle
natively. It was particularly useful for tracking down the context of
replies, without having to sift through hundreds of messages in your
feed.

The "view user profile" option that the current Gwibber has is no
substitute. Most times when I select it, nothing happens. I think one
time that it worked, it showed the profile information within Gwibber.
Great, but that doesn't help me if I want to see info about a specific
message that Gwibber doesn't provide.

I'm curious to know the reason why this feature was removed.
