Message #01098
[Bug 710392] [NEW] EV Exposure is always 0 with partial EXIF
Public bug reported:
When Hugin loads a photo with partial EXIF data, e.g. with valid ISO and
shutter speed, but missing aperture the photo gets assigned EV = 0.
However it would be useful if Hugin would guess missing values since
partial EV data would still be usable. Note match-n-shift does this and
it works quite well with my manual Peleng shots that have usable ISO and
shutter speed.
EV 0 corresponds to 1 second at f/1.0 with ISO100, so I suggest
substituting these values when any of these fields are missing. This
would also have the effect of keeping the existing behaviour when a
photo has no EXIF data.
** Affects: hugin
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
