[Bug 717908] Re: Mask images have black areas in fast preview

An include mask removes that region from all the other photos, i.e. you
are forcing the blender to only use the data from this photo:
http://wiki.panotools.org/Hugin_Mask_tab

The behaviour you describe is expected, you have told Hugin to
exclusively use data from two photos, but the data overlaps, so Hugin
shows nothing rather than randomly giving one precedence. You might
think that just showing one photo would be preferable, but this gives
really ugly results.

Perhaps the Preview should show these conflicting areas as a flashing
red area with a big '!!!!' instead of just showing them as black.

Title:
Mask images have black areas in fast preview

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  New

Bug description:
After masking several of my images to include only a central polygon
area, the preview displays show black areas where the images should be
UN-masked, even though the images have unmasked pixels there. In
addition, it seems that the preview in general is not following the
  masks.

FYI, I'm working with full-frame fisheye images, in case that makes a
  difference.
