[Bug 717908] Re: Mask images have black areas in fast preview
OK, that makes more sense. Guess I should read the manual more
carefully...
However, I think that the UI for this could be improved as follows:
- when editing the masks, it would be great to see a grayed-out area (or boxed in another color) of the current image where another image already has an include mask (effectively excluding this area from the current image).
- the UI could also prevent (or warn about) inclusion of an area that another image already includes, if that really is forbidden
- or, perhaps areas that are included more than once should be treated the same as areas that are not excluded -- that is, both included areas are fair game for the final result.

Title:
Mask images have black areas in fast preview
Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
New
Bug description:
After masking several of my images to include only a central polygon
area, the preview displays show black areas where the images should be
UN-masked, even though the images have unmasked pixels there. In
addition, it seems that the preview in general is not following the
masks.
FYI, I'm working with full-frame fisheye images, in case that makes a
difference.
