Thanks for the report.

2011.2.0 does not exist yet, you have probably tested a release
candidate (RC).  Being careful and specific about the version used is
very important.  In recent versions, go to the Help menu About Hugin in
the System tab and copy all the info from that window, thanks.  In older
versions, report the full string displayed in the Help menu under the
image.  That should include a "built by" line.

Can you try to reproduce this behavior with an older, official version
from https://sourceforge.net/projects/hugin/files/hugin/ ?

Try 2011.0.0 first.

AFAIK nothing has changed in codebase of Hugin itself regarding windows
handling.  It is possible that the executable you are using has been
built against a different/newer version of wxWidgets.  We'll have to ask
the builder, hence the importance to know the exact version/build that
you are using.

I am setting this report's status to incomplete to signal that a request
for information is pending.  when you update the requested information,
please set the status back to new to attract attention.  you can do so

  RC2: optimizer windows hide each other

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:

Bug description:
  v2011.2.0 on Windows Vista: when optimizing, first a Strategy 1 window
  opens, then a strategy 2 window opens over strategy 1 but without
  closing strategy 1, then the confirmation dialog opens, but most of
  the times under the first two windows, almost hidden by them. IIRC, in
  previous versions, everything happened inside a unique window, which
  was much more convenient IMO.
