Bake out the flip feature - implementation was incomplete. It worked not on all systems and the mouse handling (beside rotation also identify, crop and drag tools were affected) was broken with the flip feature.
Therefore setting this bug report to invalid.

Bug description:
  Default branch hugin-2011.3.0.fcaa7b0c4498
  In overview mode: panosphere, with 'flip' selected, the panosphere won't rotate about the horizontal (red) axis. Rotation is OK with 'flip' not selected.
