[Bug 853065] [NEW] changing application for enfuse/enblend in preferences has no effect

Public bug reported:

I want to put an intermediate program between hugin and enblend - I've
called it metablend. It works fine from the command line. When I select
it as the application to be used in the enblend section of the
'programs' section of the preferences, this selection has no effect.
Instead, enblend is called no matter what I specify. I tried both
entering the full path (via the file selection dialog) and entering the
command without path (it's in /usr/local/bin), neither works.

My only option currently is to rename my program as enblend - this way
it works as expected, but the solution is unsatisfactory, because it
requires manual adaptations after every enblend recompile/installation

On top of wishing for the application choice to be effective, I'd like
to see the handling of several blending/fusing programs similar to
what's available for CPGs, so I can have several applications/parameter
constellations and pick from them. In the 'stitch' tab, the placement of
enfuse and enblend in selection boxes imply that the use of several
applications is possible, but I only ever get one entry to choose from.

My system:

Betriebssystem: Linux 2.6.38-11-generic-tuxonice i686
Architektur: 32 bit
Freier Speicher: 1943776 kiB

Hugin
Version: Pre-Release 2011.3.0.4826832f8d18
Ressourcen-Pfad: /usr/local/share/hugin/xrc/
Datenpfad: /usr/local/share/hugin/data/

Libraries
wxWidgets: 2.8.11.0

** Affects: hugin
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
