Attached diff files for CMakeLists.txt and platforms/linux/appdata/CMakeLists.txt, as per Thomas's recommendations.
These changes build OK here and install the .xml files as required.
If no one hollers out with any objections, I'll commit these changes and the appdata files.
The appdata files are incomplete at the moment with dummy screenshot urls, and will require an update when Cristian completes and commits the screenshots, but I don't think that will be an issue.
