One additional note: I believe similar pop-ups are causing problems with
the Batch Processor.  At first I thought the Batch Processor in 2013 was
unresponsive to user input.  Then I encountered similar behavior in
2012-64bit.  I suspect pop-ups are being thrown up behind the GUI
window, and although they do not actually appear, the "OK" button grabs
UI focus, preventing events from being delivered to the GUI.  The batch
processing itself is not affected -- stitch jobs can still be inserted
into the queue via the main Hugin program, and the Batch Processor
window updates appropriately to show their status as they become active
and complete.  I'll check out the 2014.0.0-beta1 version of the batch
processor when I get a chance and report back here.

  I get hundreds of Warniing popups, when stitching together TIF files:

  Had to cancel stitching, the popups were just too much.
