When I stich a panorama using default temporary directory (i.e.
File->Preferences->Filenames->Temporary dir is empty) everything is
fine. But when I specify non-default temp dir (e.g. C:\Temp in my case)
then there is an issue with exiftool:

As you can see, it looks like unnecessary space is added at the end of
the temporary directory name.
