[Bug 1683015] Re: ACCESS_VIOLATION crash on startup (Hugin-2016.2.0-win64)

 

I can't deduce the reason for the crash from the debug report.
Was this the first start of any Hugin version on this computer? If not, you can clear the settings in the registry (delete the tree HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\hugin, the settings will set to default at next start).
You could also try to start Hugin with pressed control key. This will disable the fast preview window (and all OpenGL features).

  ACCESS_VIOLATION crash on startup (Hugin-2016.2.0-win64)

Status in Hugin:
  New

Bug description:
  After displaying the splash screen I get a debug report window. The
  outline of the Panorama stitcher window and overview window are shown
  (the overview is undocked).

  I've tried uninstalling, emptying the c:\Program Files\Hugin directory
  and reinstalling but get the same issue.

  The batch and lens tools load ok.

  
  Windows 10 Ver 1607 (OS Build 14393.1066)
  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (Driver version 376.53)
  Note the display is a UHD Samsung U28D590 which has a resolution of 3480x2160px
