[Bug 2104119] [NEW] [Feature request] Temporarily switch images in Control Points tab
Public bug reported:
When adding CPs, it's important to know if features are moving between 2
photos due to parallax, wind or other motion, and it's pretty hard to
see it with your eyes when the images are side by side. A solution would
be, once you've aligned the view on both images (e.g. by adding at least
one reliable CP and aligning the view on it), to be able to have them
quickly switch places while keeping the zoom and position, by using a
key press.
For example, Dupeguru (a FOSS duplicate image finder) has this feature
as a button to click and hold so that you can better see the slight
differences between 2 similar images.
The best way to implement this IMO would be to have it bound to a key
press and hold, such that when you release it, the images go back to
their original places. Spacebar seems to me like a good candidate but
any available key would work for me.
** Affects: hugin
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
