Message #00168
Are DSDT files still wanted? and what next?
All,
I was reading through the massive bug posting for the Hybrid Graphics
and came across comment #98:
>>Timo Aaltonen wrote on 2010-01-09: #98
>> Please don't attach any DSDT files anymore, we don't do
anything with them.
If this really is the case then maybe the following page should be
updated to reflect this:
http://linux-hybrid-graphics.blogspot.com/2010/07/using-acpicall-module-to-switch-onoff.html
Also what is the best way people can help this project out? I'm
interested in becoming more involved and have some experience
writing/hacking kernel modules but after searching through the various
links on the hybrid blog I'm not sure were to start. I found some
info on requests for help for the Optimus drivers but all I have is a
standard switchable so I can't help there. I have already sifted
through my DSDT file and got my T410s working with acpi_call and got
the correct off command put into its script so what next?
Regards,
Shane
