Re: Asus 1215N success

I haven't really used git before..

So if someone could give me a short info on how to download the code, then I would be greatful...

I have tried:

git clone http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/airlied/drm-testing.git
Initialized empty Git repository in /home/martin/Download/optimus/drm-testing/.git/
fatal: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/airlied/drm-testing.git/info/refs not found: did you run git update-server-info on the server?

Right. In that case the closest you can try if you are willing is
David Airlie's experimental code here:

git repo:
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/airlied/drm-testing.git
branch: drm-nvidia-switch

This is not easy to just run, although we've had people giving it a
try and commenting on the blog post:
http://airlied.livejournal.com/74176.html

As it is mentioned in the blog post, there is a debugging mode
"drm.debug=0x4" which provides useful
information to track down how the MUXes work in each specific laptop model.

Other than that, it's a matter of waiting for more info to crop up,
there are a handful of users running
Linux on 1215n laptops,

Cheers.
