Re: Schenker M4S XMG A700 Advanced Gaming Notebook Nvidia GT 425M Optimus
Michael,
Thanks dude for checking over my log. Yes I've got that feeling since it remains at "(II) Primary
Device is: PCI 00@00:02:0" and Nouveau doesn't find any adapters at all even with that BusID. Man
I've thought the "Problems with Nvidia epoch" were over (o.k. it concerns other vendors, too). I
could live with the internal GPU (and try to turn off the dGPU somehow) as long as it takes to get
things running on Linux but the Intel driver doesn't recognize my external monitor correctly (it's a
2560x1600 but the system only gives me 1024x or so - any hints for that problem?). But I am going to
keep my laptop and if I could be of any help for testing patches etc. please people just ask.
Greetings,
D.Stender
