Re: Trouble getting vga_switcheroo to work

 

Heres a question.

If I use Jockey to install the FGLRX drivers then I get blackscreen issues
as the driver is loaded. However, using the binary drivers off ATi's website
aticonfig doesn't even work.

Somewhere, jockey tells tells the OS to use the driver, but the binary one
doesnt. I think thats the missing point for me as aticonfig doesnt even
detect the card apparently even though jockey does.

Anyone know a way around that?
