Re: bug acpicall-dkms in 2.6.38-8

Hi,
Is it possible that you have forgotten to compile the module in "2.6.38" environment?

I have namely Debian-testing (wheezy) with 2.6.38-kernel and was able to insert acpi-call with no problems - I compiled the module with a simple make invoked in acpi-call-directory.

Cheers,
Tom

Hi not sure where to post this bug:

$sudo modprobe acpi_call
FATAL: Error inserting acpi_call (/lib/modules/2.6.38-8-generic/updates/dkms/acpi_call.ko): Invalid module format
acpi_call [1] works for me on kernel 2.6.35-27 but not on 2.6.38-8

should I compile acpicall-dkms from source?

Greets.

Adam
