Thanks. Do you mean nvclock? I have just tried it but it's too much oldand it doesn't support the GT540m...I could also try the force parameter (-f) but I'd like to avoid todamage everything...


Do you know some other tool?

It said "works" at PCI0.PEGR.GFX0. I checked the battery status and it
went from 2 hours to 4 hours (very good) but .... my notebook fan
automatically started working at the max speed (very noisy!). It's
really very strange...

I know nvidia controls its own fan. Perhaps if you turn nvidia off, the
fan will be fixed to maximum speed. there is something called nvidia
fancontrol, you can google for that. It might not work if the nvidia
driver is not loaded though...
