Re: Prime-NG v.2.0 released.. now with automated installer and 3D support on both Intel and nVidia
CRT-O.
I installed turbojpeg. Still jpeg compression gives choppy performance. With yuv
compression, and VGL_READBACK unset, I got decent performance (seems faster than
intel card for 3D performance, i.e. 3D buildings in Google Earth)

Hi..
It seems that it depend on the application, which mode gives the most
performance..
But thanks for your feedback.. I will add an option in the script...
Are you running with CRT-0 og DFP-0 in the configuration???

You're right. optirun32 Google-earth worked.
Your install scripts use VGL_COMPRESS=jpeg , wasn't yuv supposed to be faster.
With jpeg compression, google earth was a lot slower (even much slower than on
intel card). I changed compression to yuv and performance is much better. But
still feels slower than intel card. I will look at the logs etc and send more
details soon. I will install turbojpeg package to see if it makes any
difference.

Hi..
Thanks for your feedback.. try running optirun32 on google-earth instead.. might
be an 32-bit application...

I installed your package and was able to run "optirun64 glxgears" on Dell XPS 15

But "optirun64 google-earth" returns following error:

Of course, thanks a lot!

Hi all...
The subject says the most:
Prime-NG v.2.0 released.. now with automated installer and 3D support on both
Intel and nVidia..
I finally got it working, with some help from Pigeon... so thanks to him also...
Hope to get some feedback so that I may improve the installer... I have tested
it as good as I feel I can.. but the still might be some bugs..
