Re: bumblebee v1.0 has been released... updated script and new name...
Yestarday after a pair of hours spent to work, i got the 3d acceleration
working on my NVIDIA, but the embeeded intel doesn't have the GLX
acceleration.
Today i reinstalled the package, and i have the GLX working on the intel but
the discrete NVIDIA doesn't seems to work, when i ran:
snowpunk@phobos:~$ optirun64 glxgears
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":1".
[VGL] WARNING: VirtualGL attempted and failed to obtain a Pbuffer-enabled
[VGL] 24-bit visual on the 3D X server :1. If the application
[VGL] subsequently fails, then make sure that the 3D X server is
configured
[VGL] for 24-bit color and has accelerated 3D drivers installed.
Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual
This is very strange.
I tried to start without x and launch xdm-optimus, but the session is bugged
and i miss the panel and the input text forms :-0 .
Martin can you write a full featured how to , on the solution you built ...
explaining how this trick works?
