Re: Discrete-Power-Off on Acer Travelmate 8472TG doesn't work

 

Hi,

If you're only interested in toggling the power on the discrete card,
consider using
bbswitch: https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/bbswitch

The next version of Bumblebee (Bumblebee 3 "Tumbleweed") allows you to use
the
graphics card and contains the PM method bbswitch, but has not been released
yet. Expect it within 2 weeks.
