I always receive mails from this list... but they are hopeless for my 
situation (maybe I'm alone in this). I have an HP with two ATI cards 
(4250 and 5650), using only the 4250 (no way to switch to discrete, 
neither the proprietary, nor the free drivers).

Anyway, I stay in touch.


PD: I didn't try Ubuntu 11.10 and Catalyst 11.12... but again: I have no 
hope.
