I don't know what to make of all this tangential PRIME news. Dave isn't pushing too many commits for it and I have yet to see any comprehensive patch sets on the mailing lists.

At the very least, I'd like to see a proof-of-concept video using an actual Optimus machine.

IMHO, we should all be freshening up on our GPL knowledge and lobby hard for the ability of binary drivers to hook into dma-buf (the framework that PRIME rests on).

Per my discussion with Mr. Plagman(?), if Nvidia can't use dma-buf, Optimus on Linux will never have binary drivers.
