Jens Axboe posted on installing Linux on a Macbook Pro Retina and
found out the Intel drivers aren't supported:

"The Intel graphics aren't supported yet, so I'm stuck with Nvidia. On
my previous macbook, my main reason for EFI booting was getting access
to the Intel graphics."
