This is the cause:

SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'getContext' 
flip-animation.js, line 155 character 1
SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property 'clearRect' of undefined or null reference 
flip-animation.js, line 166 character 2
SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'addEventListener' 
hdmouse.js, line 247 character 2

May want to strip out flip-animation.js and hdmouse.js if we're not
using them, but for now just don't support IE9 and below...

Title:
  switches to mobile mode in IE9

Bug description:
  Seems to switch to mobile mode (page flipping image shown) and fails
  to display when showing in IE9, for the older stories (not Random
  Blends 2013).
