I wrote some java code to read out my GT-800 Pro device and write GPX
files. It works on Win7 and with all comports (it won't support USB). I
will publish the application on http://software.deepocean.net.


I've got a couple of questions.
- What happens when the track memory is full? Will it wrap around or just indicate it is full?
- I see a number of records with status flag 0xf1, filled with more or less crap. I filter them out, but what are they?
