At the moment we have nginx07 at the latest 0.7 branch, which was the
stable:

  $ ius ossvt versions --name nginx07
  name                           ius ver         upstream ver    status
  ===========================================================================
  nginx07                        0.7.68          0.7.68          up2date


Checking the nginx website I see 0.8 has now been labeled stable and 0.7 legacy stable.

I will look in to what is needed for getting this package updated to the
latest 0.8 branch

  The stable version of Nginx has gone to 0.8.54 and is available at
  http://wiki.nginx.org/Install

  REASON: The new stable version has a number of bug fixes. I've also
  found the Substitutions Filter module
  (http://wiki.nginx.org/NginxHttpSubsModule) to be exceptionally useful
  with high performance reverse proxies. I recommend packaging it with
  the distribution.
