Hello Geoffrey,

I assume you are making this request geared towards Enterprise Linux 5
as EL6 already comes stock with 2.2.15:

   httpd-2.2.15-5.el6.centos.src.rpm

Unfortunately the last time I looked at updating httpd on EL5 I noticed multiple dependancies that EL5 was lacking,
this is going to make updating httpd on EL5 not really feasible for our environment.

  software to surpass the 100 million website milestone. Apache was the
  first viable alternative to the Netscape Communications Corporation
  web server (currently known as Oracle iPlanet Web Server), and has
  since evolved to rival other web servers in terms of functionality and
  performance. Typically Apache is run on a Unix-like operating system.

  REASON: Apache HTTP server is what you need to run your website on
  your server.
