I've tested this and i can now install the mysql55-server package on a
fresh installation of CentOS 5 x86_64.

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:

  1.) Perform a minimal install of CentOS 5.9 x86_64
  2.) Install the EPEL and IUS rpm packages
  3.) Try to install MySQL 5.5 via yum

  I have verified that i am able to install a lower version MySQL (5.1)
  'mysql51-server' package via yum
