[Bug 1226676] [NEW] Change default timeouts for mysql51 and mysql55
Public bug reported:
We had a recent bug[1] about default timeouts for mysql55 that sparked a
conversation about changing some defaults for both mysql51 and mysql55.
We are going to increase the STARTTIMEOUT setting from 120 to 300 and
the STOPTIMEOUT setting from 60 to 300. We also added a
/etc/sysconfig/mysqld file, so these values can get customized outside
of the initscript. This file has been configured within the RPM as
%config(noreplace), so updates will not overwrite this file.
The mysql51-5.1.71-2.ius and mysql55-5.5.33-2.ius packages have been
built and tagged as test-candidate. They will be in placed in the
testing repos tonight and can take around 24 hours to hit all the
mirrors.
