Title:
e1000e ethernet not working on raring 13.04 (nor in precise 12.04)

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After an upgrade in precise, the ethernet connection started failing.

My desktop is a Dell Inspiron 530s with e1000e 82562V-2 Ethernet
  interface.

The problem is that it seems to connect and receive the dhcp but the
  ethernet fails all the time.

  I tried with kernels:
  3.10.3-031003-generic
  3.8.0-19-generic
  3.8.0-21-generic (from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1152194 -- http://people.canonical.com/~henrix/e1000e-pm-bug/)

  None of them worked.

Also I tried with the driver from http://sourceforge.net/projects/e1000/files/e1000e%20stable/2.4.14/ and neither it worked.
