[Bug 1149359] Re: The System Freezes when decreasing and increasing screen light multiple times

Jehad Zendah, could you please confirm this issue exists with the latest
development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains,
could you please run the following command in the development release
from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will
automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report:

apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number>

Title:
[Dell Inspiron N5010] The System Freezes when decreasing and
  increasing screen light multiple times

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I am using Dell inspiron n5010, I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and everything looks great, but when I tried to decrease the brightness of the screen, all of a sudden, the system freezes, thus I restarted my laptop and I performed the same action again by decreasing the brightness and everything gone fine but when I intentionally increased the light it freezes again. Note that I uses the buttons on the keyboard to do these actions.
