### The video is not affected, but the audio recording by the microphone just stops when the "cannot submit urb" error shows
### up. It only works for a short before it stops. It sounds like Alan's patch above might workaround the problem in this case.

Bug description:
  The 3.8.0-24.35 kernel update in raring introduced sporadic failure of
  USB audio devices. The symptoms are that the device suddenly stops
  working and you get the following dmesg output:

  The fix hasn't been backported to 3.8 yet, but as this bug was
