[Bug 1088760] Re: Touchpad on Dell 17R is recognized as PS/2 Generic Mouse

update to this, does it change anything?
If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:

Touchpad on Dell 17R is recognized as PS/2 Generic Mouse. Scrolling
does not work and I cannot disable tap to click. There is no
"Touchpad" tab in mouse properties.
