Bug description:
Sometimes when writing to sparse files the file size isn't updated
properly resulting in lost data at the end of the file. This has been
fixed in 3.8rc7 and the fix from the btrfs devs is committed here:
https://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/josef/btrfs-
next.git;a=commit;h=d468abec6b9fd7132d012d33573ecb8056c7c43f This
patch should apply cleanly and would be trivial to backport to recent
ubuntu release kernels.
